The “human radical” is a component within the dictionary tradition of Chinese character classification, resembling a standing figure and often associated with ideas like humanity and action. Its mirrored strokes on the left and right suggest a point of divergence, a form shaped through variation and ongoing difference. Included here are 160 (pseudo) human radical characters contributed by different participants, forming an open system that echoes the structure of the human radical itself. Writing, in this context, is not merely transcription, but a kind of resonance, a way to search, to respond, and to reconsider how writing takes shape and how memory unfolds. The book moves through acts of gathering, reflection, and response to both everyday landscapes and constructed signs. It continues the interactive practices from past exhibitions, compiling materials from the process — dias, text fragments, and writing traces — and reworking them into a new arrangement. It becomes a space for experimenting with form and extending thought. Based on the emotions of his hometown,&nbsp; I read and searched online during the epidemic the works of authors Weng Nao(1910-1940), Jin Lian(1928-2013),and Qiu Miaojin(1969-1995), who were also born in Changhua City. The same hometown, growing up in different generations means that they are in different contexts of modernity in Taiwan. To reconstruct the memories of handwriting Without the use of both hands ____________________ The title of the video Installation "Ephemeral Radical" is an extension of the experimental attempt of "Radical 9" on Chinese handwriting. This work is inspired by a research on Brain to Text technology, in which a miniature electrode array is implanted in the cerebral cortex of a person suffering from paralysis to form connecting pathways to a computer. Once neural signals are decoded, handwriting trajectories are displayed as letters on the screen. The training dataset for this work consists of handwriting samples from the public. By reproducing and enhancing them, copies were made on clay tablets. He is a representative figure among the Generation Crossing Language Poets. In the post-war period, Jinlian became deprived of the language that he grew up speaking and writing in. Sadness and miserliness were his feelings of being linguistically confined. His process of turning emotions into words thus became extremely laborious, like a spider’s slow process of spinning. I placed this line by Jin Lian in the title column of AI write generator, and set the above mentioned historical context to provide AI with better test results by Neural Network Language Model (NNLM). By doing so, I attempt to investigate if NNLM’s corpus and generation method are able to display the inner world of literature and are associated with the real author. This video "inputs" this generated text by various input methods. Every time we type on the keyboard, speak words to a machine and write on the screen - all these input methods help keep the module's computing mode further upgraded. People attempted to socialize through video conferencing platforms. This work is a record of long-distance and real-time images of the my family members in Europe and Taiwan, with clips of daily life before and after the lockdowns.
